Here’s a wrap-up, a review, and some extra pics of our recent stay in Taos.
Day One (after a brief visit in Santa Fe):
1. Pull in and take a nap.
2. Walk to the local pub (Eske’s). Remember to stay tuned for that green chili vegetarian stew.
3. Walk to grocery store for supplies.
4. Sleep and get awakened by weird knocking noises.

Day Two:
1. Hike the rim.
2. Buy treasures from roadside vendors.
3. Brews and eats at Taos Mesa Brewery.
4. Walk the plaza.
5. Listen to street musicians at John Dunn House Shops.
6. Margaritas at Adobe Bar.
7. Nap
8. Dinner at The Love Apple
9. More weird knocking.

Day Three:
1. Farmers market.
2. Rancho de Taos church and shops. (Find a piece of pottery you think you can’t live without.)

3. Lunch at Orlando’s.
4. Harwood Musuem. A must see and literally steps away from our casita.

5. Wine tasting. Listen to loud wine patron, “I never knew there were so many nuances to Merlot.”
6. Linda Rauch Gallery. We love talking to people who are passionate about what they do. Also liked her dog.
7. Debate whether or not you’re investing in pottery.
8. Pull the trigger and buy said pot.
9. Try to haggle with a Mexican import place over a 5′ tall carved St. Pasquale.
10. Defeated, buy a bottle of wine to take back to the casita.
11. Sit on the patio and reflect on the vibe that is Taos.
12. Final meal in Taos at El Meze.
13. Final weird knocking noises.

Day Four, heading home:
1. Just happen upon Wired? on the way out of town. Grab coffee.
2. Head home via the high road and Las Vegas, NM.

3. Think about turning around.

4. Arrive home nine hours later, unload, and reflect on the vibe that is Taos.
5. Plan next trip.
Now, I’m just revisiting pictures daily to keep in that Taos state of mind.
